The Alabama Women’s Commission hosted a Regional Women’s Connection Event on December 16, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the Alabama Center for the Arts. This gathering brought together women’s organizations, community leaders, and advocates from across North Alabama to strengthen collaboration and advance efforts that support women and families.
The Regional Women’s Connection Events are designed to foster deeper partnership and shared learning among organizations serving women throughout the northern region of the state. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
● CONNECT with leaders and community partners working to improve outcomes for women in Alabama.
● SHARE updates and insights about the important work being done locally on behalf of women.
● DISCUSS the key issues and opportunities impacting women’s health, education, safety, and economic well-being.
“As we continue to expand the work of the Alabama Women’s Commission, regional
connection events allow us to listen, learn, and elevate the voices of women and the
organizations who serve them,” said Rep. Terri Collins, Commission, Alabama Women’s
Commission. “We look forward to building stronger partnerships across the state and
celebrating the meaningful work being done in our communities.”
