The Alabama Women's Commission will host its sixth annual IMPACT: Celebrating Alabama Women fundraising event on April 10, 2018 at the Capital City Club in Montgomery, Alabama. The event honors the lives of Alabama women who have made an extraordinary impact on their communities, state, and nation. In the past, we have honored congresswomen, representatives, community leaders, business women, and entrepreneurs. This year's keynote speaker is Governory Kay Ivey.
In addition to celebrating the impact of Alabama women, the Commission focuses its efforts each year on a different topic of interests for women in our state. The last two years, our efforts have been focused on the financial and economic challenges women face in various stages of life. The Commission recognizes the need for coordinated efforts among organizations and entities in our state to educate women on resources available. Our goal through this event is to empower leaders and stakeholders in our community to improve opportunities for women to financially educate themselves.
The Commission will host a pre-luncheon panel discussion on finanial education with the following panelists:
